THE CLIMATE GROUP WORKS WITH A RANGE OF MEMBERS AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS DRAWN FROM LEADING LARGE BUSINESSES AND SUB-NATIONAL GOVERNMENTS ON CLIMATE CHANGE, WITH A VIEW TO BUILDING UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE, AND GROWING CONFIDENCE TO ADVANCE AND EXPAND LEADERSHIP IN SECTORS INFLUENTIAL ON FUTURE WORLD EMISSIONS OF GREENHOUSE GASES.

Registered as The Climate Change Organisation, The Climate Group works to "set the world economy on the path to a low-carbon, prosperous future". It supports carbon pricing and the creation of a "carbon market".

However, the charity’s latest annual accounts show that it received £203,615 from "government" (10.2% of total income) plus £459,450 from HSBC.
