ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ISSUES OF ROAD SAFETY WITH THE OBJECT OF REDUCING DEATH & INJURY ON THE ROADS AND HELP PEOPLE TRAUMATISED AND INJURED BY ROAD CRASHES THROUGH PROVISION OF SUPPORT SERVICES TO RELIEVE THEIR SUFFERING.

According to the 2007 accounts, Brake's income for road safety education was £296,984. The Department for Transport provided a grant of £41,811. It received further government grants totalling £17,480.

remains dedicated to improving standards of risk management within companies, and our Brake Professional service provides information to academics, local authority employees, enforcement agencies and health professionals.
Naturally, all of this information is entirely unbiased and definitely is in no way skewed towards Brake's objectives in any way.

Out of a total income of £1,077,392, £70,991 (6.5%) was provided by government grants. £285,718 was provided through "corporate partnership" and £333,057 was through donations.
Unfortunately, the annual report does not detail who these coroprate sponsors. However, we are sure, like the information that Brake supplies to various parties, that these sponsors definitely have no axe to grind.
